Running
I run to clear my head and stay consistent more than to chase PRs. I like to have at least one map drawing for every place I visit, and I share those on Strava if you're curious.
Things I do when I'm not coding — mostly excuses to share time with people, and the occasional rabbit hole I follow alone.

Currently working through Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian. Bernard Cornwell anchors the historical-fiction side — I've followed his Saxon Stories all the way, plus the Arthurian and Sharpe arcs. Sci-fi fills the other half: Le Guin, Gibson, Bradbury, the Strugatskys, and the occasional contemporary like Andy Weir. Brazilian literature shows up regularly too — Machado de Assis, Itamar Vieira Junior.
Comics share equal shelf space with prose, and I tend toward the literary, international end of the spectrum. Standouts: Spiegelman's Maus, Satrapi's Persépolis, Oesterheld & Solano López's O Eternauta, Gaiman's Sandman, Gabriel Bá's Two Brothers, and Chaboute's Alone.
Deep Rock Galactic and Hunt: Showdown are the regular rotation — I'm in it for the squad more than the genre. Rock and Stone. Library on Steam.
I'll try almost any board game, but the Arkham Horror Card Game is the obsession — long-running campaigns where the story actually remembers what you did. Collection on BoardGameGeek.
Comes and goes in waves — when I want a different kind of puzzle from code. Mostly online on chess.com.
Grew up with retro games and still keep coming back to them. Lately that means making tiny things on TIC-80 and PICO-8 — here's a Snake clone I wrote in Lua for TIC-80. 🐍
